(Stephen Wolfram) is a British scientist and the chief designer of the Mathematica software application and the Wolfram Alpha computational knowledge engine.
Stephen Wolfram born on 29 August 1959. He was educated at Eton, Oxford, and Caltech, receiving his PhD in theoretical physics in 1979 at the age of 20. His early work in physics and computer science was recognized by a MacArthur award in 1981.
